Shreya Banerjee: The Culinary Force Behind Careme
Shreya’s love affair with baking began in her grandmother’s kitchen. Years later, at Le Cordon Bleu, she honed her craft in the art of French patisserie. Determined to create something uniquely her own, she returned to India to establish Careme—a space where French techniques meet the robust flavours of the subcontinent.
From experimenting with chai-infused ganache to perfecting sourdough with a hint of local spices, Shreya’s passion shines through every loaf and pastry that comes out of Careme’s ovens.
